This new role, working in one of the UK’s most diverse organisations, offers great opportunities to deliver BC and ITDR solutions that fit business needs, along with good personal development opportunities. Working across the UK, in close liaison with the board, the team manage all major incidents and ensure the management system in place covers all aspects of relevant BCI, ITIL and ISO standards. In addition to working closely with 3rd parties, the role would be responsible for liaising with all outsourced providers to ensure the DR is in place, tested and meets business needs. You will proactively work to ensure new technologies are considered to continually enhance the recovery capability and resilience in design. This role will support the functional head and IT in fully implementing the current solutions, with the opportunity to develop into the lead role in the future. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in a BC or DR role (with strong IT experience if coming from a BC background). Membership of BCI or DRII, Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and ITIL qualifications are preferable. You should have good experience testing, exercising, and training and be comfortable working with senior management across the business with the ability to influence others. Some UK-wide travel will be required.
