Transforming resilience: The next chapter

Posted on 12th August 2019 at 08:06am

The Emergency Planning Society (EPS) is delighted to confirm the programme for its annual networking session on the evening of September 10, and a study day on the morning of September 11, which is being held at the Telford Campus, University of Wolverhampton, UK. This year the programme is focused on transformation, the next chapter and future challenges within the profession, of which there are many.

Dr Lucy Easthope, an esteemed Fellow and Chair of the society’s Education portfolio, has developed a programme that will provide a mix of panel sessions, learning and hearing from the heart of the profession.

Those who have attended EPS’s events before will know that Dr Easthope always delivers thought provoking and insightful learning events. This year’s event promises to be another that will explore the key issues. She loves to challenge, and this programme will provide this in abundance.

The event will be hosted with CRJ Advisory Panel member, Stewart Mashiter and his team at the University; it follows two half-day events on September 10, where Mark Scoggins, Solicitor Advocate at Fisher, Scoggins, Waters, London will be presenting.

For members, the event is free to attend and for non-members, the cost is £50.

A low cost option to book dinner, bed and breakfast is included, which is noted on the booking information. There is a limited number of rooms on hold, so don’t delay in booking.
