University of Wolverhampton announces event on major incident management
The University of Wolverhampton welcomes Mark Scoggins, a Solicitor Advocate from Fisher Scoggins Waters based in London, for a half day presentation, at their Telford Campus on September 10, 2019.
Scoggins will talk about his experiences advising on major incident management. Among the topics he will cover are strategy and tactics, the role of senior command, plans and exercises, and joint working with other agencies.
He will also lead an interactive session on defensible decision-making, records and decision logs, the training and supervision of loggists, and perils and pitfalls in post-incident debriefs.
There are two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, both running with the same schedule.
The fee to attend is £40. The University’s Telford Campus is the home of the Emergency Management & Resilience Centre. Further details about the half-day event and how to book can be found here.
