Natalie Coull
Graduating from St Andrews University with a PhD in Computer Science, Natalie has been a lecturer in Computer Security in the School of Engineering, Computing and Applied Mathematics since 2007 at the University of Abertay based in Dundee. Her teaching and research interests focus on ethical hacking. This looks at all the different methods that a malicious hacker may use to circumvent the security of a system and the broad area of computer security with cover issues such as improving computer security for children and cyber patterns. Natalie is involved in a number of initiatives to increase the number of women who choose to study computing. She regularly visits schools to conduct workshops with pupils in her role as STEM ambassador.
