Kate Rawlins

Kate RawlinsKate is a London based digital crisis preparedness consultant. She prepares and delivers crisis simulation exercises, training courses and speaks at conferences.

Formally a television and radio journalist, Kate has qualifications in journalism and criminology. Prior to moving to the United Kingdom, Kate was a senior government press officer in Australia. In 2014, she managed the local crisis communication response to Panama TR4 disease in Queensland.

In 2017, Kate worked with the British Red Cross during the initial days of the Grenfell Fire response. Her role focused on communicating with residents and donors via social media to share critical information.

Today, she works around the world for Helpful Digital, delivering crisis simulations and training for clients across a variety of sectors, including government, oil and gas, manufacturing, and the financial services industry.
