4th International POLSECURE Expo wraps up in Poland

The 4th International POLSECURE Expo at Targi Kielce in Poland goes down in history as the event that once again brought together key stakeholders in the safety and security sector. This year's expo was the showcase for 219 companies and institutions from 17 countries.

Over three days, the exhibition halls were visited by over 6,000 industry guests. The agenda was complemented by 10 conferences and expert panels, creating a space for discussions on the sector's most important challenges.

This year’s trade fair clearly showed a change in approach to safety and security; the focus, this time, was not only on responding to threats. Above all, building the state's resilience through co-operation among services, administration, and technological partners was in the spotlight. Discussions focused on integrating activities and effectively using available tools and resources.

Conferences arranged by the Police were a strong pillar of the programme, in addition to the main debate on the role of this service in a changing world; topics related to social safety were also discussed. The protection of children and young people on the Internet and anniversary issues related to sports in the Police and other themes demonstrated a wide range of Police activities, from operational to preventive.

An important enhancement of this year's expo was the debut of the STRATEXPO Exhibition of Civil Protection and Strategic Reserves, prepared in co-operation with the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves. The new expo space focused on securing state resources and preparing for crises.

RARS, the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves, also actively participated in the conference, chairing workshops and debates on the strategic reserve system and institutional co-operation.

Meeting real needs

The exhibition showed how dynamically the security technology sector is developing; the solutions on display included communication systems, analytical tools, unmanned technologies, and solutions supporting the protection of critical infrastructure. The growing role of business as a partner in building state security was clearly visible.

Live demonstrations by the uniformed services are an integral part of the event, allowing visitors to see operational activities in realistic scenarios. Joint operations by various formations demonstrated in practice the importance of co-ordination, communication and the use of modern equipment.

The POLSECURE trade fair is consistently developing as a platform connecting all elements of the safety and security system – from services and administration through the private sector to the scientific community. The growing number of participants and the development of new initiatives confirm the event's importance to the industry.

And again, Kielce becomes the home for safety and security soon, with the September International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), one of the most important events in Europe's defence sector. In June next year, the Exhibition and Congress Centre will host the International Fire Protection & Rescue Exhibition (Kielce IFRE Expo), and the next POLSECURE will take place in 2028.
